Hurricane Katrina ConstructionDisaster reconstruction begins as soon as the initial disaster cleanup has taken place. After the non-recoverable objects have been discarded, the salvageable objects can then be taken to a cleanup facility for individualized restoration.

When it comes to disaster reconstruction, we have the ability to handle any issues that might arise. This includes smoke damage, water damage, mold remediation, and even damage appraisals.

Our service is always professional, and we are aware of the need for quick and compassionate service in the wake of a disaster.

PRESIDENT'S BIO

Larry Gerard | President of LGI

Larry Gerard has over 30 years of experience in construction.  His diverse project background has lead to the character, integrity, and responsibility that he uses to lead Larry Gerard Incorporated.

From 1967 to 1970, Larry served in the United States Army where he was awarded the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, SSG E6, Student Officer Personnel, Fort Belvoir, VA. He was assigned additional duty as liaison between ROTC graduate engineers and the Pentagon. Larry was involved in the management of 50 civilian and military personnel tasked with the overseas assignments of ROTC.

After being honorably discharged in 1970, Larry began his construction career as a laborer on the Peachtree Summit Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the years his on-the-job training continually progressed.  He became fluent in base building and interior finish to include but not limited to, site work, steel, concrete, carpentry, cold form framing, specialties, finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and - most importantly - project management.

Through evolution he continually progressed from field operations into estimating and construction management.  The combination of field training and estimating progressed into the advent of a successful General Contracting firm. Larry Gerard Incorporated has managed multiple projects in excess of three million dollars, utilizing as many as 120 field personnel at any one given time.
